What I’m Reading

I write often, but I read more; and what I read often appears in what I write. Below is the up-to-date list of the books on my nightstand (or my fancy kindle app). *While I do recommend many of the books that I have read, some of the books I am currently reading I do not endorse, some titles will appear here with which I wholeheartedly disagree. For a handful of the books that I do endorse see my Books I Love page.

C.S. Lewis: A Life By Alister McGrath

Introductory Lectures on Aesthetics By Georg Wilhelm Friedrech Hegel

Wuthering Heights By Emily Brontë

The Defense of Faith by Cornelius Van Til

Poems By C.S Lewis

Walking on Water: Reflections on Faith and Art By Madeleine L’Engle

Around the World in Eighty Day By Jules Verne (as a read-aloud for my littles)

The Amazing Death of Calf Shirt and Other Blackfoot Stories By Hugh Dempsey

  1. I’m reading Faust right now also: it’s brilliant!
