What I’m Reading

I write often, but I read more; and what I read often appears in what I write. Below is the up-to-date list of the books on my nightstand (or my fancy kindle app). *While I do recommend many of the books that I have read, some of the books I am currently reading I do not endorse, some titles will appear here with which I wholeheartedly disagree. For a handful of the books that I do endorse see my Books I Love page.

The Beautiful and the Damned By F. Scott Fitzgerald

Lucretia Mott’s Heresy: Abolition and Women’s Rights In Nineteenth-Century America By Carol Faulkner

The Prince By Niccolò Machiavelli

The Journals of Jim Elliot Edited by Elisabeth Elliot

C.S. Lewis: A Life By Alister McGrath

A Gracious Space: Fall By Julia Bogart

The Complete Poetry and Prose By William Blake

My Side of the Mountain By Jean Craighead George (as a read-aloud for my littles)
